What is the minimum deposit?
The minimum deposit at Hero Markets is €100.
How can I deposit or withdraw money from my account?
Navigate to the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. Select Add Funds if you want to deposit money and Withdraw if you want to withdraw money. Your account must be fully verified before you can submit a withdrawal request.
How do I verify my account with Hero Markets?
In order to verify your identity, you must provide proof of identity, e.g. an identity card, driver’s license or international passport, as well as a proof of residence, e.g. a phone or electricity bill or a bank statement. The document must have been issued within the last six months.
How do I submit my documents?
Go to the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. Click Verification Center in the top right corner and select a document from your computer.
Questions about trading
Click on the dollar sign in the top right corner. Please note that the balance does not reflect the profit/loss from your open positions.
To search for a specific instrument, you can use the search bar that appears above the instrument section on the left side of the screen. You can also find a list of all instruments under each of the asset categories on the left side of the screen.
The favourite list of instruments is shown under Watchlist in the top left corner. Tick the star sign to add the instrument to the list and untick it to remove it.
Select an instrument and click Buy if you think the price will go up, or Sell if you think the price will go down. To close the position, open the ‘Positions’ tab and close it by clicking the close button.
To set a Stop loss, tick Stop loss and set the stop loss level manually. To select Take Profit, tick Take profit and set the take profit level manually. If your position is already open, you can still set Take Profit/Stop loss by clicking the Edit button.
Go to the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. Click on Reports and select Finished positions.
Open positions are displayed in the Position section on the left side of the screen. To the right of the instrument, you can check all relevant information about the position – direction, volume, entry price, current profit/loss and applied margin. If you have opened more than one position with the same instrument, all positions are displayed under the asset.
Click the arrow next to Add Funds in the top right corner. Your P/L will appear in the drop-down list.

If your equity is equal to or below 50%, the platform will automatically start closing your positions, starting with the position that generates the largest loss, until the equity in your account rises above the 50% margin level. ‘Maintenance margin’ refers to the minimum equity you must have to keep your positions open.
‘Required margin’ is displayed in the new order window. This refers to the amount you need to open and maintain a position in addition to the initial loss that will occur due to the spread, you intend to buy 10 barrels of oil at 45.30, in this case the required margin is derived through the following formula – (amount instrument price)/leverage + (amount spread). (1045.30)/10+(100.05) = 45.8 USD
To open a pending order, open the ‘New order’ window and select ‘limit’ or ‘stop’, depending on the direction in which you have chosen to open the position. To set the desired level, enter the price manually.
Go to the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. Click on Reports and select Account statement. Select the desired time period and click Generate.
To switch to the demo account, navigate to the top right corner and click on CFD Real and then select CFD Demo from the drop-down menu.
